How do I set up PayPal as my Merchant Processor in my SimpleCart?

To confirgure your PayPal so that you can begin accepting payments in your SimpleCart follow these instructions:

1) Create an account at
2) In order to use Express Checkout, you must first have a Website Payments Standard Business Account at PayPal.
  Website Payments Pro requires upgrade and monthly fees.
* Important: You must properly configure a payment methods with correct Logins, Passwords and Settings before use.
Please check with your Payment Processor for details on accepting payments through your website.
3)  PayPal requires you to setup an API Credentials before use

To create an API signature:

  1. Log into PayPal, then click Profile under My Account.
  2. Click API Access.
  3. Click Request API Credentials.
  4. Check Request API Signature and click Agree and Submit.

* You must have a PayPal Business account to create a signature.
4)  Once all of these steps have been completed in your PayPal Account, return to the Web Builder
5) Select Store Manager from your Web Builder Dashboard
6) Select the Payment Modules Tab
7) Type in your API USER, API PASS and API Signature provided to you from PayPal
8) Click Enable
9) Save your Payment Settings
10) Publish your Website
