How do I update the server records for my domain with 1&1?
Please Note: This process is intended for customers who want to have their website hosted with us, but also maintain hosting and/or e-mail with 1&1.
- Login to your 1&1 Account
- In the "Packages" tab, Find the package that includes the appropriate domain, and click on the package name
- In the "Basic Settings" section, click on "Domains" (House Icon)
- In the domain list, click on the check box next to the appropriate domain
- Click on the button "DNS"
- In the "Name Server Settings" section, click the "Edit" button
- In the "Advance DNS Settings" section, next to "IP Address (A Record)" select "Other IP address"
- There should be four fields provided, enter these numbers in this order: "204", "232", "152", and "63"
- Click "OK"
Please Note: Server Record changes can take 24hrs to propogate across the Web.
